It's Been A While

Where do I even begin? It's been a very long year. However, let me first say, I have really missed you. I've missed writing. I've missed connecting. I've missed sharing. Yeah, it's definitely been a while. It felt good to be in this space this morning. It's early, and still quiet in my house. Before the pandemic, I would have been running around like a mad woman to get everyone where they needed to be on time, only to still end up being late.

It hasn't been all bad, there have been blessings in this shut down. I've been allowed to slow down and just be. That is something I haven't been able to do in years. I can wake up in the mornings and meditate while enjoying the quiet, and stillness, before the work day/school day begins.

I've spent this time reflecting and becoming more intentional about my life. It's definitely taken some getting used to. I had to adjust to being in the house all of the time. That was crazy at first. I always felt as if I was supposed to be doing something. 2020 definitely sat my ass down. I appreciate that I had the space to focus on myself. I needed that. There are so many things I want to write about. I just wanted to add a new post since I haven't written in forever. New posts are coming.
