You Gotta Play the Hand You Were Dealt

I read a quote recently that said, "You gotta play the hand you were dealt like it's the hand you wanted!" So yeah... for me that's so much easier said than done. I suck at playing cards! Except for Uno. Everyone knows how to play that. This hand I was dealt is most definitely not the one I wanted. The question is now, how am I going to play?? I'm playing to win. I'm stubborn and I hate to lose. As if losing were ever an option. I can't lie, it's been a pretty rough past couple of weeks. The kids were experiencing some issues and I wasn't feeling all that great both mentally and physically.
Some days I really just want to say "F*@% it" and just give up. However, I can't and I won't. I just want to sometimes. People are watching and rooting for me. My kids are watching and I can't allow my circumstances to break me. Actually, I think it's done the complete opposite, it's awakened the beast in me. LOL!, I didn't even know there was a beast in there, and she is no longer sleeping. I am becoming ever more aware of the power that I possess. I'm pretty dope if I do say so myself. I have a story to tell and a testimony to share. I have the power to create the life that I want to experience. So that is what I am going to do.
What does that life look like? You will just have to wait and see. I'm just going to keep working until all the planets align for me and send me all the awesome I deserve. I am so excited about our upcoming business launch and the girl's book club. I am also feeling pretty good about the school year so far (fingers crossed). Lord knows we have had some rough school years. Everyone has good grades and no one is cutting up. That is definitely a win for me. I guess you can say that I am doing pretty well for someone who can't play cards.
This is a short post. I just wanted to say to anyone reading this that you can play AND win with whatever hand you were dealt. No matter what it looks like, you can get through it. Even on the days, you feel like you can't make it another second you will. I am living proof of that.
